Because...
Detroit and its surrounding areas, like much of the nation, is experiencing tough times & uncertainty. People are losing their homes, unemployment is the worst its been in many years & sometimes things are scary.
The reality is, there is Hope in Detroit, Michigan & all over the US, light that shines in the darkness, so that we don't have to despair. Detroit, its surrounding counties, cities & towns, and the entire state of Michigan have a lot of people who believe in it. We want to share those stories. While there will be stories of faith, they don't all have to be.
We want to share stories of people doing good & helping each other. Stories of businesses helping each other & their community. Simple stories of how a smile changed your day. Stories about Random acts of Kindness. Stories that inspire people and lift their spirits in tough times. Lets share Love & Life. Lets share Hope & a Smile today!

I am a Christian father with a lovely wife & five beautiful children. We have gone through, and are going through a lot of personal struggles.
However, in the midst of that we have seen God's Love & Provision, and the Love & Generosity of People, that is beyond anything we ever expected!
